Dear Loyal Manchester Member,

Since 1998, 93 South Maple St. has been the home of the Workout Club of Manchester. As you now know from our previous direct correspondence, we were unable to renew our Lease with our Landlord, thereby forcing us to close our doors effective October 23rd, 2011.

As you are aware, we have been actively searching for a new expanded location in order to provide you with a premier health and wellness facility. Unfortunately, our plans to move to 1300 South Porter St., formerly the Furniture World building, did not come to fruition. We are actively continuing our search for a location within the Greater Manchester area that will prove to be our long-term new home. While we do not yet have our new location fully solidified, we are confident that we will have a new home that you will find truly worthwhile waiting for.

In the meantime, in order to allow you to achieve your fitness goals, we are able to provide you with two continued membership options:

1. Your membership will be transferred for full access to our Londonderry, Derry, and Hooksett facilities (Hooksett location is less than six miles away from current 93 S. Maple St. Manchester location) at the same rate you are currently being charged. Please note that is a significant savings as our Londonderry facility average monthly fee of $39.99. Additionally, if you decide to remain a WCWC member, you will receive preferential pricing upon the opening of our new Greater Manchester facility.

1. If you would like to continue with your fitness goals within the City of Manchester, and are not in a position to wait until our new Greater Manchester Club opens, we have structured an arrangement with the YMCA of Greater Manchester, located at 30 Mechanic Street in Manchester and 116 Goffstown Road in Goffstown. The Y has agreed to honor your current rate through the end of your contract if you are being billed on an EFT agreement. If you have a prepaid membership, the Y will honor that membership at no additional charge through the expiration of your current agreement. If you are no longer under contract at the Workout Club, you are welcome to continue your membership at the Y for up to November 30, 2012 at your current rate and then convert to a special membership rate of $37.76 if you agree to EFT billing (10% off the standard $41.95 adult rate). Please note that a Y membership is valid at any Y in New England.
   

If you are interested in option one, you do not need to do anything, your membership will automatically continue and you can utilize any one of the Workout Club’s three locations: Londonderry, Derry, and Hooksett. If you prefer option two to convert to the YMCA, you will have the opportunity to sign up with the YMCA at the Manchester at any time before December 31, 2011, (Please note: Ample free parking is conveniently available in a secure parking garage at the downtown Manchester Y location). Please bring your membership card and/or membership agreement to either the Goffstown or Manchester Y when you visit. If you do not have a copy of your agreement, we would be more than happy to provide you with one. Simply contact the Manager at Manchester, or any of the three WCWC facilities. Please note, that unless you indicate otherwise, the Workout Club will automatically continue to bill you for access to our Londonderry, Derry, and Hooksett facilities.

We want to continue the great relationship you’ve experienced with our clubs in the most seamless way possible ... so we’re hoping you’ll bear with us during this transition period and continue your membership with us at one of our other three locations: Derry, Londonderry or Hooksett. When our new Manchester/Bedford location opens, you’ll be the first in line for membership! We are working diligently to find a location that we feel will provide our members with a fitness facility that you’ll find convenient, attractive and most of all, a comfortable place in which to maintain your exercise and wellness goals.
